Every morning, he rose with a deep passion to share the art of Shudokan Karate, an art he devoted his entire adult life to studying. His relentless pursuit of growth as both a martial artist and a teacher earned him the love and respect of all who knew him.
Since 2014, we have honored Shihan John's legacy through the Franco Cup—an event that brings us together to celebrate his spirit in a safe, fun, and challenging environment. It’s a tradition that reflects his values and continues to inspire new generations of martial artists.
