URGENT: Tomorrow's TMAA Battle of the Dojos Tournament POSTPONED
Dear TMAA Families,
We regret to inform you that tomorrow's Battle of the Dojos Tournament, Saturday, September 26, has been POSTPONED due to the ongoing fires affecting our community.
We received a phone call from the Facilities Director of Central United Church informing us that the gym we had reserved for our tournament is now being used by the American Red Cross to provide emergency shelter for families displaced by the fires.
While this news comes at the last minute, we completely understand and support the need to prioritize the safety and well-being of families facing this emergency.
We will work to secure a new tournament date and communicate those details as soon as possible.
We sincerely apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause our students and families.
At TMAA, we teach that martial arts extends beyond the dojo. It is about compassion, respect, service, and supporting others during difficult times. Right now, our community needs those values more than ever.
Please join us in praying for the displaced families, our firefighters, emergency responders, and everyone affected by these fires.
